Many of you who've been to my house know that I've had this idea brewing in my head for quite a while- - today it came to fruition and finally got on the wall and I LOVE how it turned out! My front door is super tall, so this ginormous vinyl hanging "sign" looks perfect, I think, next to it (If you had a shorter door you'll want a smaller version!)

Cost is $30 for a big version like mine - which is about 20" tall -

The smaller version is about 14" tall (appropriate for human-sized doors) and will be $24.

I guess we could make one even smaller, say, if you happen to be a HOBBIT.

Let me know if you want one - we'll of course personalize it with YOUR name and wedding year, or you can just put "WELCOME" or something else of your choice "Go Away" maybe? Ha! Don't you just adore it? Delish.

Trick or Treat Pumpkins

I decided to put words on these pumpkins for a centerpiece - I'm planning to get a small pumpkin to stick between these two to put "OR" on. I love, love how vinyl looks on pumpkins - and the beauty of vinyl is that you can decorate your pumpkins EARLY in the month - while carving doesn't last more than a couple of days!

Family Rules - Subway Style.

Black and white graphic subway art is all the rage now at places like Restoration Hardware and Ballard Designs and such. I've made my own version here using a list of "family rules" - this would be a huge piece (like 22" wide by 28" tall) you'd either put on a big wooden sign or on the wall. (To get this effect you could paint a black rectangle on the wall and apply the white vinyl right on top - so easy!) Let me know if you want one - or if you'd like something similar with a different set of rules/list/color/etc. At this size the vinyl would be $40 and come in three pieces, for easy application.

This is the coolest idea - of course I had to make some of my own - black vinyl FACES that you just stick on your pumpkin for Halloween. (And YES, I'm a Harry Potter geek, of course I had to make one of him! I swear I may never carve another one for as long as I live! Price is TBD on this one - and I'm not sure whether to sell them individually or as a group of six. Any preference?

I've always liked this saying - I think I will re-do the tiny framed version I have of it, and make it new again on a big vinyl-on-painted-wood sign for Christmas. Want one too? Be Attitudes Block

You've seen this a million times on tiles, but with the BE very big in the middle. This is a way more modern, interesting (and much easier to read) version of that, which lists all of President Hinckley's "Be" attitudes. Can be cut up to 7.5" square in your choice of vinyl color, or up to 11" square in chocolate brown vinyl. Cost is $10 each. I'm wanting to make these in WHITE vinyl, on little square 6x6 wood blocks for my girls for their rooms - super cute idea, eh? Want one? Let me know.

Vinyl Ideas

You can put vinyl on almost ANYTHING! I did a bunch of these for Christmas a couple of years ago - got glass blocks (you know, the kind they put in bathrooms?) with holes drilled in the bottom, (you can buy them at Hobby Lobby already drilled) and put a small strand of white lights inside. This vinyl nativity design went on the front. I then tied a big ribbon around the whole thing, with a bow on top - turned out super cute!

Temple Plaque.

My lovely friend Jackie took this excellent photo of the Mesa temple, and then I edited the heck out of it to create the distressed, aged look that you see here. We used it as part of a Relief Society activity, and mod-podged 8x10 prints of it onto wooden plaques. They all turned out so darling! I plan to put mine on a wrought iron easel on my piano, eventually. If you're interested in buying a copy of the temple picture file, let me know. Depending on how you're going to use it, and how many prints you'll make, will determine the price.

Vinyl Name "Plaque"

I saw something similar to this online and HAD to have it. I designed all the scrollwork and the "plaque" to look like it's hanging from a wrought iron bracket. It will be in black vinyl, and be stuck on the wall just next to my trim by my front door. Obviously, this would be a custom piece with YOUR name instead of mine. Let me know if you want one!
